Our first TCS Women meeting was held part of STOC 2018 TheoryFest: 50th Annual ACM Symposium on the Theory of Computing organized by Sofya Rashondnikova (Boston University), Barna Saha (University of Massachusetts Amherst) and Virginia Vassilevska Williams (MIT).
The event consisted of a panel of distinguished women researchers in the field of TCS, a women lunch and a poster session jointly organized with STOC poster session.
Due to generous sponsorship of Google, Microsoft and NSF, TCS Women provided travel scholarships to twenty eight women researchers from across the globe to attend STOC TheoryFest.
